Litek Pharma’s VHP (Vaporized Hydrogen Peroxide) Material Transfer System is designed to ensure complete decontamination of materials during their transfer between classified areas. Thanks to a validatable VHP cycle, the system guarantees an aseptic and controlled environment for each transfer, reducing the risk of cross‑contamination in critical processes. This MTS version delivers maximum microbiological safety in GMP environments where product integrity and sterility are essential.
The system can be configured in different sizes to adapt to the specific needs of each installation or process.
Advanced VHP decontamination
The system incorporates an integrated VHP generator that enables validated decontamination cycles inside the chamber, ensuring effective microorganism elimination and aseptic conditions in every transfer operation.
This solution is particularly suitable for facilities with high sterility and/or containment requirements, such as aseptic production areas, biosafety environments, and other critical applications, achieving a microbiological reduction of up to 6 log. As an option, the system can be connected to a centralized external decontamination system.
Airtight chamber with inflatable seal
The VHP MTS chamber is designed in accordance with Class 3 tightness standards as defined by ISO 14644, ensuring effective containment during VHP decontamination cycles. This level of tightness is essential to prevent leaks, protect personnel, and maintain the effectiveness of the decontamination process.
Prior to the start of each disinfection cycle, the system allows a leak test to be performed to validate the required level of tightness, ensuring optimal conditions before VHP injection. Optionally, the unit can be equipped with a catalytic converter for accelerated hydrogen peroxide decomposition, significantly reducing aeration times and enabling faster system readiness.
Precise cycle control
The system allows full management and monitoring of each stage of the decontamination cycle, ensuring validated times, concentrations, and conditions to guarantee process effectiveness. Color‑coded lighting enables instant identification of cycle status, enhancing operational safety.
Cleanroom integration
The VHP MTS integrates seamlessly into any cleanroom thanks to its configurable design, multiple size options, and flexible installation possibilities. Its ability to decontaminate materials before entry or exit makes it a key element for classified areas.
Optional carts
Optional carts and racks can be specifically designed to suit each type of load, ensuring materials are optimally arranged inside the chamber. This guarantees full exposure of all load surfaces to the VHP cycle, maximizing decontamination efficiency.
Connection to External VHP Decontamination System
As an option, the material transfer system can be connected to an external VHP decontamination system, either centralized within the laboratory facility or using a independent device.
