Job Description for Senior Mechanical Designer in Litek-Pharma

The Senior Mechanical Designer is responsible for designing machines, assemblies, and complex mechanical systems with a high degree of autonomy, aligned with the technical, cost, timing, and quality objectives of assigned projects. Main responsibilities include:

Defining the 2D layout of the project based on conceptual designs.

  • Leading mechanical R&D designs for specific projects approved by the product committee.
  • Providing technical support to the Business Development Department for preparing proposals, and to the After-Sales Department for drafting offers and resolving issues.
  • Creating and supporting 3D design work from 2D layouts.
  • Ensuring the study and optimization of machine cycles to meet performance targets.
  • Ensuring adherence to project timelines.

How an Senior Mechanical Designer in Litek-Pharma is

Education

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience and Knowledge

  • At least 5 years of experience in the design and construction of machinery, assemblies, and complex mechanical systems.
  • Experience in machinery design, preferably focused on sheet metal cutting/bending.
  • Knowledge of GMP environments and pharmaceutical and/or food industry machinery.
  • Experience with motion systems based on servo motors and pneumatic actuators.

IT Skills

  • Proficiency in Solid Edge is required.
  • Experience with PLM Teamcenter is required.
  • Proficiency in Office tools is required.

Languages

  • A minimum B2 level of English is required.
