Job Description for Cost and Applications Engineer in Litek-Pharma

The Cost and Applications Engineer is responsible for preparing price lists for standard products and analyzing commercial requirements to identify, calculate, and design the equipment that best meets customer needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Performing equipment sizing and calculations for commercial projects
  • Coordinating technical matters with other departments (R&D, Automation, Validation) and developing layouts with the mechanical designer
  • Maintaining price lists for standard equipment
  • Sourcing peripheral equipment
  • Managing and updating the competitor database
  • Managing and updating the database for consumables and peripheral components

How an Cost and Applications Engineer in Litek-Pharma is

Education

  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

 

Experience and Knowledge

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project management, technical applications, cost estimation, and commercial proposals in industrial manufacturing companies
  • Knowledge of machinery manufacturing, preferably in the automotive sector and focused on sheet metal cutting/bending
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatic automation, and PLC-based automation
  • Familiarity with GMP environments and pharmaceutical and/or food industry machinery is a plus
  • Knowledge of the life sciences sector (Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Hospital) is a plus.

 

Languages

  • Minimum B2 level of English required (C1 preferred)

 

IT Skills

  • Proficiency in CAD, Solid Edge, and Teamcenter (document management module of Solid Edge)

 

Mobility

  • Occasional travel required to attend trade shows, events, and conferences in Spain and internationally
